Betty Anyanwu Babes romp pass Akeredolu Bombers

Betty Anyanwu Babes defeated Akeredolu Bombers by 3 goals to 2 in a novelty match that took place at the school field of St Patrick College, Oka Akoko, in Akoko South West LG Area of Ondo State.
The Wife of Ondo State Governor, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu -Akeredolu also presented some exercise books to the students of the College.
While commending the effort of the school management and the participants for organising the match, Mrs Akeredolu said that it will help to exercise the body and promote good health. She also seized the opportunity to educate women on breast cancer. “Breast cancer is a medical issue not spiritual, check your breast once in a month for any unusual change like lump, discharge or any other change and report immediately to the hospital because early detection saves lives.” The Governor’s Wife also applauded Arogunjo for his contribution to the exercise and described him as round peg in a round hole.
Earlier in his welcome address, Akoko South-West Local Government Education Secretary, Chief Balogun Arogunjo while welcoming the First Lady described her as an Amazon of no repute with big heart. “You will agree with me that the First Lady has transversed the length and breadth of this terrestrial firmament and have carved a nice for herself in human constituency. I must say that we are too small to contain her, but by divine Providence, she is in our midst.
“We also appreciate Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on the psychomotor existence and status of our primary schools in Akoko South-West Local Government.”
