Bid for more national Sports events, traders, caterers charge Delta

Delta State government has been charged to ensure the state host more national sporting competitions.

One of the leading caterers at the just concluded 21st National Sports Festival, Blessing Williams,who gave this charge ,said the festival has enable her and other sellers to promote their business.

The Akwa Ibom indigene ,who owns food Fair Nigeria and caters for Yobe and Niger States at the Games ,said she made new friends and business contact through tht festival.

Through this festival ,I have made business contact and met new friends . Let the state seeks more hosting rights of other sporting events. The Festival is an opportunity to network and promote my business and it has been great for us here”she added.

Alhaji Kabir Galadima from Kano State and a fabric dealer at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, was also happy with the festival having recorded tremendous sales.

“I came here on Tuesday from Kano,and we are enjoying the festival.”
