Blue, Purple House lead Comfort Tenderfeet joint Inter House sports

Blue House has emerged winner of the Joint biennial Inter – House Athletics competition of Comfort Tenderfeet Schools with 275 points, while Purple House came first in the primary School category with 228 points.

In the Secondary school category, Green, Purple, Yellow House came second, Third and fourth with 230, 227, and 220 respectively.

Yellow house went home with second position with 225 points in the primary School category, while Green and Blue House came second and fourth position with 219 and 198 points.

Providence Nursery and Primary School won the invited relay in the primary school girls’ category, while Oluwarotimi Nursery and Primary school Solid Foundation came second and third.

However Solid foundation came first in the Boys categories, Oluwarotimi and Providence emerged second and third respectively.

In the secondary school, Oyemekun Grammar School leads while Estate High school and Bolafoluwa Secondary School came second and third respectively.

Saint Peter’s Unity School won in girls category and Baptist  High School and Estate High school came second and third respectively.

In an interview with Sporting Hope, the Supervisor  of the school, Mr Adeola Isijola said sports is part of the school curriculum, saying education and sports are Siamense that should not be separated.

According  to him, education is the best legacy  one can give to his children , but not the only  means to riches, urging parents to encourage their wards to take part in the sports of their choice.

He admonished some of the exceptional athletes among the students to keep doing what they know how best to do, saying the sky will be their starting point in future.
