Residents of Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area, have expressed concern over an unidentified adolescent boy found sitting helplessly by the roadside along the Ore-Okitipupa Expressway.

It was gathered that residents woke up to find the boy sitting by the road without any apparent purpose.

Some passers-by, who spoke with The Hope Metro, suggested that the boy might have been abandoned by unknown individuals.

Dressed in a white top and blue jeans with bloodstains on his head, the boy, who looked between 8 and 10 years old, sat barefooted and helpless, while no one appeared willing to assist him.

When approached, the boy, who spoke incoherently, could not provide details of where he had come from.

As of the time of filing this report, the boy was still sitting helplessly by the roadside.
