Killer of Khadijat Oluboyo, daughter of a former deputy governor of Ondo State, Seidu Adeyemi has been sentenced to death by hanging by a High Court judge sitting in Akure, Justice Samuel Bola.
Adeyemi was charged for killing his girlfriend on July 2, 2018 and burying her inside his room at Aratusi, Oke-Aro area of Akure.
The trial judge stated that though there was no direct evidence linking the convict to the murder, the circumstances surrounding the crime points to the guilt of the convict.
The court found him guilty as charged and sentenced him accordingly.
Before her death, Khadijat was a final year student of Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba Akoko (AAUA).
