Fear gripped residents of Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo state on Sunday as a fuel-laden tanker exploded.
This is just as some residents within the area stormed the venue to scoop spilled fuel.
The incident happened along Showboy road, opposite Optima filling station in Ore on Sunday evening.
A source who spoke with Hope Metro said the truck lost control while driving, which led to the explosion.
The number of casualties is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
Efforts to speak with FRSC Officials proved abortive as at the time of filing this report
