President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has suspended the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele from office with immediate effect.

This is sequel to an investigation being conducted in his office and the planned reforms in the financial sector of the country.s economy.

He is to hand over to the Deputy Governor Operations Directorate who is to act in that capacity until a substantive Central Bank Governor is appointed.
