Buhari’s re-election: NCBSG tasks members on commitment

The National Committee of Buhari Support Group (NCBSG) , Ondo State chapter has charged its members to be more committed and ensure all the party’s candidates in the 2019 general elections emerged victorious.
The State Co-ordinator of the group, Mr. Henry Kehinde-Bello gave the charge while addressing local coordinators and members of the group in the 18 local government areas of the State in Akure, yesterday.
He urged them to remain focus and deliver the state for President Buhari and other candidates contesting under the platform of the APC.
Kehinde-Bello, who emphasised unity as hallmark of every success in an election advised them not to allow economic sycophants and looters of the country’s resources to take over power in next year’s elections.
He called on the local government coordinators of the group to put in their best just as he noted that the joy of the struggle is the victory of the party.
The state coordinator told local coordinators to hold meetings regularly at their various local governments and update the state executive with the reports of their meetings
His words “The assignments ahead of the elections are enormous and the group should hold their meetings regularly and mobilise more members at various units to fight a common goal of delivering the state for APC.”
Kehinde-Bello used the forum to assure members of the readiness of the federal government to conduct free and fair poll.
He said the federal government is putting necessary machinery in place to ensure the elections are not rigged.
“Rigging will not be allowed during the coming elections as the needed security apparatus and personnel will be deployed to monitor the elections” he assured.
Cross section of the members of the group at the meeting assured their readiness to work for the victory of the party in the polls and called on the state executive members to proffer solutions to challenges facing the group at the local levels.
