A building has collapsed at Ayedun street around hospital/Egbe road in Akure, the Ondo State capital, killing two people including a 9-day-old baby and the mother.
The Hope Metro gathered that the incident happened in the early hours of today as an overhead water tank fell on the storey building and wreaked havoc in the community.
Mother and the 9-day old baby who was christened yesterday died Instantly while the elder brother of the baby and their grandmother sustained varying degrees of injuries.
As at the time of this report, security personnel had evacuated the dead bodies while the injured ones are now receiving treatment at an unknown hospital.
