Campaign organisation hails Aiyedatiwa’s triumph at Apex court

The Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers Independent Council (LACO-FSIC) has commended the Supreme Court’s dismissal of the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Agboola Ajayi, against the election victory of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami.
In a statement issued in Akure, the State Information Director of LACO-FSIC, Kayode Fasua, described the ruling as a validation of the electoral process and an affirmation of the legitimacy of Aiyedatiwa’s mandate.
“The verdict underscores the sanctity of truth, proving that Governor Aiyedatiwa and his deputy duly complied with all electoral laws governing the gubernatorial election. The court’s pronouncement that the PDP’s petition was statute-barred highlights the desperation of the opposition to fabricate any excuse to challenge the legitimate winners without due diligence,” the statement read.
LACO-FSIC maintained that the November 16, 2025, election was a clear reflection of the overwhelming support for Aiyedatiwa across the 18 local government areas of the state.
“The election was a resounding 18-0 Pro Max victory, reaffirming the governor’s widespread acceptance. It is a triumph of true democracy over opposition elements who sought to subvert the will of the people through baseless litigations,” the campaign organisation stated.
The group also lauded Aiyedatiwa’s administration for its performance since assuming office, citing significant infrastructural developments and grassroots empowerment programmes as testaments to his commitment to the people.
“Our schoolchildren are full of praises for the governor due to the provision of free shuttle buses to ease transportation to and from school. His government continues to prioritise policies that uplift the standard of living, particularly in rural areas,” LACO-FSIC stated.
The organisation, on behalf of its convener, Baba Aladura Dipo Okeyomi (aka Carry Go), co-convener Prince Biyi Poroye, Director-General Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, and its entire membership, called on the people of Ondo State to sustain their support for Aiyedatiwa’s administration to ensure continued progress and development.
