A car parked along the road in Ore, the administrative headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area in Ondo State, was consumed by fire on Thursday around 11:50am. The cause of the blaze remains unknown.

For over an hour, observers noted that despite the growing intensity of the fire, no bystanders attempted to intervene, while residents continued their activities, either unaware or unwilling to help.

At the scene, our correspondent found a plastic jug and a cooking pot, which may be linked to the incident.

An anonymous eyewitness revealed that the cause of the fire was unclear, and the fear of potential explosions caused many to stay clear of the scene.
