Car washer dies inside Well

A 42-year -old car washer, Tayo Adebamigbe  has reportedly died inside a Well  in Ondo town.

The Hope Metro reliably gathered that the victim, who had been suffering from epilepsy for a long time, fell inside the well   in his shop at Ajilo, Ademulegun road Ondo,  on Saturday only to be discovered the third day.

It was learnt that the late Adebamigbe used to draw water from  the well most times because  of his job.

Meanwhile, details of the incident which claimed the life of Adebamigbe still remained  sketchy as at the time of filing this report.

An eyewitness said his corpse  was later found on Monday morning when another shop owner wanted to  fetch  water from the well, who saw the lifeless body of the deceased floating on the water.

The police in Yaba  Division were  said to have rushed  to the scene, where they made   frantic  effort to retrieve the corpse from  the well.

The  body  has been deposited  at the General Hospital mortuary in the town.

 When The Hope Metro visited   the area, several residents  and  shop owners wore sad look, while some were seen sitting in groups discussing the development and some locked their shops.
