Church celebrates Pastor

Christians  have been charged to be diligent, committed and dedicated as this is the sure way of getting to the top in their callings and chosen carriers.

National Vice-President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Reuben Oke gave this charge at the sendforth  organised for the out gone South West Zone  Pastor of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, TREM, Rev Biodun Paul Adeyemo during the week.

The ceremony turned testimony galore for the immediate past head was held at the headquarters of the church in Akure with many dignitaries in attendance.

He charged christians not to relent in running the race irrespective of their levels in life.

Oke whose sermon was titled “Run On”, called on both the younger and older generations christians  not to relax.

He charged christians and by extension, Nigerians to serve God in totality as he commended the church for honouring their Pastor whom he said served meritoriously for 19 years.

Others who spoke at the ceremony described Rev Adeyemo as a man  of humility and knowing what authority is all about.

They described the celebrant as a disciplined, dutiful, dedicated and above all, a man that fears God and love people and also loved by everybody and a genuine servant of God whose deeds are worthy of emulation.

Responding, Rev Paul Abiodun Adeyemo  accompanied by his wife, Lola thanked the church for honoring him, saying the 19 years he spent in Akure will always be remembered for good in his life.

Adeyemo who  is  relocating  to the United States of America with his family was presented with gifts by various groups in the church.

Highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of the new pastor of the church, Rev Sina Makanjuola to the congregation.
