CNPP to disclose intention on LG polls

The Conference of Nigeria Political Parties, CNPP, Ondo State chapter has said that it would make its intention known today whether or not to participate in the forthcoming April 18 local government elections in the state.
The State Chairman of the pressure group who is also chairman of Unity Party of Nigeria, UPN, in the state, Mr. Rotimi Boboye, disclosed this to The Hope immediately after a meeting of the members of the group held in Akure, the State capital.
The well attended meeting by various political parties’ chairmen had as part of discussion the political issues bothering on the coming council polls in the state.
Boboye made known that communique after the meeting would also be made available to journalists for the people of the state to know resolution reached after the meeting.
According to him, CNPP as an alternative pressure group to Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC on political struggle would not relent on its effort to achieve the objectives on which it was established.
