Coach Adedotun  revels players exploits at National Youth League

Ondo State Table Tennis Coach, Omoniyi  Adedotun has expressed joy over his players impressive outing at the just concluded National Junior and Youth league and the feats recorded during the All African Games trials all in Lagos.

Adedotun who spoke to the Sporting Hope from the (All African Games) national camp in Lagos said he was elated seeing two of his players winning Gold and Silver medals in the championship.

Mati Taiwo, who plays for Ondo State had defeated Amadi Omeh from the same state 3 -2 in the final match held at Molade Okoya -Thomas Hall , Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos to emerge champions

Adedotun revealed that his boys were able to record success in the competition through prayers and hard work .

He added “that Mati and Amadi are hardworking players they trained day and night, they had the stamina and experience.

According to him,I’m so happy that when the championship started with all the invited players from different league all over the places they were able to make it to the final and won gold and silver in the championship.

The national under -15 coach added further that out of hundreds of invited players from the nooks and crannies of the country for the trial, saying  Ondo State took four slots out of  ten needed players for the All African Games camp.

He mentioned the four Ondo state table tennis players currently in All African Games camp  in Lagos to include, Mati Taiwo, Wale Fagbamila, Oloruntade Adeola and Omeh Amadi.

His words “my players distinguished themselves from the crowd, because people see difference in them, they remain most disciplined and determined players in camp ,I’m proud of them”, he said.
