As a way of giving back to his Alma mater, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja has commissioned remodeled and renovated projects at Local Authority Primary School II, Oke- Bola, Akure.

The projects are: four blocks of nine classrooms and a hall, basketball court with spectators’ pavilion, five-aside football pitch with two spectators’ pavilions, sports changing rooms, Lavatories, Borehole for water reticulation, perimeter fence, electrification, solar lights and a playground.
The COAS also commissioned a special intervention civil military cooperation project in Oke-Bola.
Other projects he commissioned included remodeled headquarters of 32 Artillery Brigade office complex and newly constructed official residence of the Brigade Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM).
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the COAS said that as part of the pillars of his command philosophy, his resolve is to provide sound administrative support to personnel of the Nigerian Army and their families.
He assured all, that the Army under his watch will continue to develop and improve on infrastructural facilities across all formations, units and barracks to provide incentives and succor for all personnel and their families.
He enjoined the personnel to judiciously utilize and maintain the facilities.
