Commissioner calls for synergy between OSDPC, Lands

The Management of the Ondo State Development and Property Corporation (OSDPC) has been urged to give maximum cooperation to the Ministry of Lands& Housing in order to achieve success together.

The Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Alhaji Abdulfatai Olotu made the call while playing host to the OSDPC Board Chairman and the Management team of the corporation in his office in Akure.

Olotu who was the former House of Assembly Chairman Committee on Lands and Housing said the agency is his familiar terrain.

He added that whatever achievement recorded by the corporation would have impact on the people and the government in fulfilment of the lands and housing policies formulated by the ministry.

As the supervising Ministry what we request from your agency is cooperation, in order to have a better working relationship and carry out our primary assignment successfully.

He therefore urged the management of the corporation not to keep them in the dark on  developments in the agency  so that the supervisory ministry will know where to come in if needed, to make sure they achieve greatness together.

Earlier Chairman of the corporation, Architect Gabriel Morphy Aderomilehin, said the visit was to familiarise with the ministry and to avail the commissioner about the developments in the corporation.

Aderomilehin added that the Commissioner is the one liaising with the cabinet on behalf OSODPC adding that the management of the corporation has been of tremendous help in carrying out government policies in their purview.

He added that the corporation was able to acquire some lands through the help of the Ministry of Lands and Housing.
