Ondo State Commissioner, Youth and Sports Development, Mr Bamidele Ologun has assured Sunshine Stars players, coaches and back room staff of government’s support.
He urged the team to reciprocate the commitment of the government by winning matches and picking maximum points .
Dele Ologun stated this while addressing the players ahead of this weekend’s home clash against visiting Niger tornadoes, saying the government is ready to prioritize their welfare.
”You have done so well and I appreciate your commitment, doggedness and dedication, please exhibit more this weekend against Niger Tornadoes and I assure you will all smile ”
Captain of the team, Sunday Abe who spoke on behalf of the players commended the commissioner for always fulfilling his promises.
Sunshine Stars are currently occupying the 5th position on the abridged group B table with 9 points.
