Ondo State Commissioner for Agric Olayato Aribo has promised his continued support for Sunshine Queens Football Club of Akure.

Aribo stated this during a thank-you visit of the officials and players of Sunshine Queens at his Alagbaka office in Akure after their midweek victory over Ekiti Queens for his support, encouragement and motivation for the team.

Aribo had kitted Sunshine Queens with two pairs of quality jerseys produced by one of the best sports wears companies in Nigeria at the beginning of the 2023/24 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).

Aribo while praying for more winning for the team, promised to watch any of their next match.

He said: “I will not take your visit for granted, I will discuss with Mr.Tayo Abidakun and see how we can organize a reception for you”.

The facilitator,Tayo Abidakun thanked the donor for his kind gesture, saying the team had promised to visit after their victory over their Ekiti visitors.

According to him, “we thank God for today’s victory, we have agreed that after today’s match, that we will come here to thank you for your support and that is what we are doing .

“I will crave your indulgence to find a time out of your tight schedule to sit and have a little talk with the ladies.”

Commending the commissioner, Team Manager of Sunshine Queens FC, Kenny Smith odogun said we are always happy and feel motivated whenever we put on the jersey.

“We sincerely thank and appreciate your kind gesture and may God continue to bless you abundantly.

“We therefore appeal to other private organizations within and outside the state to take a cue from what Oyato is doing, Government can’t do it alone,”he said.
