T he Commissioner of Sports and youth development in Ondo State, Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye has reverted the purported sacking of the Ondo State FA Secretary, Mr Daudu Alex and directed the acting GM of the sports Council Mr Wande Fabuluje to reinstate him with immediate effect.
It was reported in the state yesterday that Ondo State Sports Council (OSSC) had sacked the State secretary of the Ondo state FA, the incident was confirmed by the acting GM of the council.
But the commissioner of sports in the state did not just revert the decision, he equally described the purported sacking of the FA scribe as nullity, he said this via text message sent to journalists in Akure.
The commissioner also nullifed the purported removal of the Ondo State FA Chairman Otunba Dele Ajayi as a result of his loyalty to Chris Giwa Faction of the NFF, adding that president Muhammadu Buhari has penultimate week resolved all the crisis in the Glass house for peace and to avert FIFA’s august 20th hammer.
The commissioner said that statusquo should remain and urged Amaju Pinick group to be magnanimous in victory , to ensure there is no any act of vendetta , so that peace can reign supremely in the country’s football house .
He however warned that any government official that involves in any form of crisis after the president had resolved the matter, will be treated as being disobedient to the constituted authority and all FA matter in court.
