Modakeke community in Osun State has demanded the probe of the killings of a mother, Titilayo Gbadegesin and her son, Reuben Gbadegesin on a farm at Alapata village.
It will be recalled that tension broke out in Modakeke on Tuesday over the alleged killing of the mother and son.
Hope Metro learnt that youths from Modakeke discovered the corpses and alleged they were killed by Ile-Ife indigenes and their corpses dumped on a farm in Alapata, Modakeke.
Spokesman for Modakeke Progressive Union Ven. Debo Babalola who confirmed the identities of the victims said, Titilayo was into farming and buying of farm produce, while Reuben, her eldest child, was planning to travel out of the country.
“We are demanding investigation into the gruesome killing of the mother and her son.”
Also confirming the incident, Police spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola also said a woman and her son were murdered on their farm at Alapata.
She said investigation is on.
