An upcoming artiste, Miracle Adejayan, fondly called by his stage name B. White, has said consistency is needed in the music industry if one must make impact.
The 21-year-old artiste disclosed this while speaking with Friday Extravaganza that different people come to limelight everyday while some people also go down. “It’s versatile, life is up and down, but I believe being consistent will take you a long way,” he said.
The Ondo indigene artiste said he ventured into the music industry to show the world the real stuff he was made of, and to be a successful music legend, adding that Olamide Baddo, Burna Boy and Fireboy are his role models.
“I have nothing special that is inspiring me, but when I am in the mood I can compose a full track in few minutes. I currently have singles but yet to produce an album”, he said.
While speaking on the challenges in the music industry, Adejayan said, not having enough funds to promote his music career was his major challenge.
However he augment by thriving to make ends meet.”I do hustle to attain my career. I am not married, I’m a student and I have the full support of my parents, however, I’m just thriving with everything in order to get things into place, ” he said.
“Meanwhile, there are a lot of people in the industry who do not understand what it takes to be a musician, some don’t even know anything about doing music, yet, God’s grace is all we should seek for.”
B. White, a 300 level student, however, advised other upcoming artistes in the industry to make hardwork, consistency and prayers their keys to success.
He further advised them never to relent in their career, but believing that hardwork pays. ” It sometimes may not look profitable at the beginning but it will surely pay with time.” He said.
