“Government should please come to our rescue, music industry has not benefited from government’s gestures during this hardship period”, he said.

He lamented that entertainers cannot go anywhere since the lockdown order, saying they have exhausted all what they have during this COVID-19.

Murphy noted that music is only what brings food to their tables and there is no means of going out to work and feed their family.

According to him, most of them are full time musicians, no business and other ventures were added, saying they live on music alone.

Another popular musicians in the State, Ambassador Yomi Bright, noted that entertainment is now widely sought through the use of the internet and social media .
