From Fisayo Akinduro,  Osogbo

As part of measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, Osun State Government has commenced enforcements of safety protocols across the State.
The State Government has also begun a safety course for residents and citizens in order to curb the rising cases of the virus in the state.
The purpose of the safety course is to enlighten the non-adherents on the reality of the pandemic and the necessary safety precautions that should be ensured to forestall its further spread.
The Joint Task Force against COVID-19 in the State on Tuesday apprehended some non-adherents to the safety protocols against COVID-19 as advised by the NCDC, and made to attend a compulsory safety course.
It will be recalled that the State in the last three days recorded over 20 COVID-19 cases in the state.
Speaking on the recent index cases recorded in the state, Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Health, Dr. Olasiji Olamiju has warned the general public most especially religious organisations to follow strictly guidelines issued to help contain the spread of COVID-19 or face the wrath of law.
Olamiju who expressed with dismay the decision of some worship centres to flout government directives on physical distancing, use of nose masks, provision of water, soap and sanitizers maintained that Governor Gboyega Oyetola is passionate about the healthy living of all in the state and cannot afford to allow activities that will jeopardize peoples life.
He also warned that another lockdown is feasible in the state if religious body and other people concerned do not follow the stated guidelines by the state government.
