Similarly parents have become apprehensive about what could happen in the next minute as they locked in their wards to prevent them from being the next target of the cult groups.

Information reaching our reporter revealed that   a clash broke out on Monday night as two cult groups, the Eiye and Aiye confraternities battled  for supremacy.

The fight broke out between the rival groups at Right Link Villa, Okanlawon street, opposite the main campus of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo over some misunderstandings.

According to eye witnessed who did not want their names to be published, when the fight broke out, two people were hacked to death as the cultists freely used cutlasses, cudgels, charms and other dangerous weapons on themselves.

At the end of the clash, two people who were believed to be students of  Rufus Giwa Polytechnic and also members of one of the cult groups laid dead.

It was learnt that the dead cultists were hacked to death with their hands chopped off which signified the sign that they were killed by the members of the Aiye fraternity.
