Cultists declare ex-member, Olanrewaju Raphael wanted

…hacks pregnant wife to death
A former member of the Black Axe confraternity, Olanrewaju Raphael, has raised the alarm over threats to his life after suspected cultists brutally murdered his four-month-pregnant wife, Margaret Musa, in Kaduna.
Raphael, who reported the incident at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Alagbon, Lagos, narrated that he was forcefully initiated into the Black Axe confraternity during the 2009/2010 academic session at the Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Kogi State.
However, he refused to participate in their activities and later renounced his membership.
His troubles escalated in June 2018 when he travelled to Kaduna to visit his pregnant wife.
During his one-week stay, suspected cultists stormed his residence and launched a deadly attack.
While he narrowly escaped, his wife was not as lucky, she was hacked to death.
The assailants left behind a chilling note, warning that he could run but would never escape, as he knew their secrets and operational methods.
Fearing for his safety, Raphael sought police protection, stating that the cult group had declared him wanted and would stop at nothing to eliminate him.
However, due to manpower constraints, the police informed him that private security could not be provided. Instead, they assured him of constant surveillance while Detective Jude Ojomma and his team were assigned to investigate the matter.
