Desire Oparanozie quits football

Desire Oparanozie has announced her retirement from the Super Falcons and club football.

The player made this announcement on her verified social media pages on Wednesday.

Desire started her career with the Super Falcons in 2010 with 35 caps and 22 goals. She has been to four FIFA women’s World Cup 2011, 2015,2019 -and 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
