Diaspora community hails Aiyedatiwa on new capital projects

The Coordinator of Ondo State Youths in Diaspora (OSYiD), Barr. Amb. Gbenga Olukayode, popularly known as Don Pedro also the Founder/CEO of Don Pedro Humanity Foundation, has commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his remarkable strides in infrastructural development across Ondo State.

Speaking from the United Kingdom on behalf of Ondo State Indigenes in the Diaspora, Olukayode praised the governor for his visionary leadership and commitment to transforming the state.

He highlighted ongoing projects that are reshaping the state’s landscape, particularly the monumental dualisation of the Akure/Idanre Road.

Don Pedro expressed optimism about the impact of these infrastructural projects, noting that they would not only improve connectivity within the state but also boost economic activities.

He further emphasised that such investments in infrastructure would pave the way for greater development in Ondo State, attracting investors and creating job opportunities for the people.

“We have been closely monitoring the developments in Ondo State, and it is evident that Governor Aiyedatiwa is committed to laying a strong foundation for the future of the state,” Olukayode said.

“The dualisation of the Akure/Idanre Road is a game changer for the state, and we applaud the governor for his foresight in prioritising this vital project.”

The OSYiD Coordinator also noted the positive impact the infrastructural projects will have on the state’s economy, especially by facilitating easier access to various regions of Ondo State.

He stressed that improved roads and transport systems would provide a conducive environment for businesses to thrive, fostering economic growth and stability.

He further assured the governor and the people of Ondo State that OSYiD is committed to supporting these developments.

“Our organisation will ensure that Ondo State benefits from a strong influx of foreign investments.

“We understand the importance of building strategic partnerships with investors across the globe and we are determined to ensure that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s efforts in infrastructural development including the “SMART CITY” Project attract the attention of potential investors,” he said.

Olukayode also emphasised the importance of collaboration between the state government and indigenes in the Diaspora in realising these goals.

He revealed that OSYiD is already in discussion with several potential investors and partners, aimed at advancing the economic development of the state.

While lauding the Governor’s progress, the UK-based Coordinator reiterated the commitments of OSYiD to supporting the developmental agenda of Ondo State.

He promised that the group would play a crucial role in ensuring that the state realises its full economic potential through strategic investment channels.

Olukayode, while expressing his gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa for his outstanding leadership, reiterated that the future of Ondo State looks bright, with the collaborative efforts of both the government and the Diaspora community in fostering a new era of growth and prosperity.
