Dignitaries at the inauguration of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy have expressed confidence in their leadership, stating that the event marks a significant milestone for Ondo State.

Congratulating the newly sworn-in Governor and his Deputy in separate interviews with The Hope, dignitaries expressed admiration for their vision, leadership, and commitment to public service.

The pioneer National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, stated that the inauguration marks the beginning of a new chapter for the state and a celebration of democratic values.

While expressing confidence in the ability of the new administration to lead Ondo State to greater heights, he expressed his belief that their influence and passion would foster economic growth and drive development.

The former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, while congratulating the newly sworn-in Governor and Deputy, advised them to focus on the betterment of the state, free from distractions.

The State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ade Adetimehin, described the event as a milestone in Ondo’s political development, underscoring its significance for party stability and governance continuity.

Adetimehin pointed out that previous administrations had struggled to maintain party succession, attributing Aiyedatiwa’s emergence to the foundation laid by the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and reflecting the APC’s resilience and stability.

While acknowledging the significance of the achievement, he stressed the challenges ahead and urged both party members and residents to support the new administration to ensure governance continuity.

An APC chieftain and the Executive Director of Alpha 3-D, Prince Biyi Poroye, advised the new administration to prioritize security to further encourage investors and ensure a peaceful environment.

He expressed admiration for the Governor’s vision, leadership, and commitment to public service, stating that he would use his expertise to elevate the state to an enviable position.

The Chairman of Ondo State Council of Obas and the Deji of Akure, Oba Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo, Aladelusi prayed that this new era would herald prosperity and great tidings for the state

. He encouraged the new leadership to always stay true to their values and principles, never forgetting the people who elected them.

Others believed that the tenure of Governor Aiyedatiwa, as the 7th democratically elected Governor of Ondo State, who secured an unprecedented victory at the polls, would usher in peace and sustainable development.

They urged the new administration to continue initiatives aimed at advancing the state.
