Executive Secretary, Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Agency(OSPHCDA), Dr. Francis Akanbiemu has called on health workers across the state to be passionate in discharging their duties just as he stressed the need for rededication in the new year.
These he said will enable the people of the state the opportunity to enjoy qualitative health care delivery from all facilities in the state.
He spoke during the first prayer meeting of the Agency in Akure.
While commending them for their efforts in improving the health status of the state last year, he noted that it is important that they don’t relent in discharging their duties despite the coronavirus pandemic which has been ravaging the world and added that they should always be mindful of their health by embracing the necessary precautions in tackling the virus.
Stressing the need for all to be prayerful, he stated that only prayer can help overcome every challenge and added that they should pray for the leadership of the state in order to take the state to the promised land.
Akanbiemu while expressing appreciation to God for His protection over the staff all through last year, urged workers to continue to provide unhindered services to the people of the state.
However, he called on people of the state to continue to pray for peace in the country and the state in particular.
