Don’t disappoint your constituents, ODHA members charged

The newly inaugurated members of the Ondo State House of Assembly have been advised to pass bills that will promote the welfare the people that voted them in and allow good relationship with the executive for the progress of the state.
Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state gave the advice in separate interviews with The Hope after the inauguration ceremony of the lawmakers.
In his own advice, an APC chieftain, Mr. Akintan charged them to sustain the trust that people have in them by voting them and provide dividends of democracy for the electorate.
He described Ondo State Governor as a visionary leader, a man of integrity, and charged them to work towards the sustenance the projects being executed by his administration.
Also, the longest servicing lawmaker in the eight ODHA , Mr. Olugbenga Akinsoyinu, urged the new legislators to be good representatives of people by being generous to the electorate in their various constituencies.
Akinsoyinu who stated this during the valedictory session for the outgone lawmakers among whom he was a member, was a four times member of the House.
His words: “Do not keep distance from the electorate and bridge space between your electorate and as well be generous to them, try to give to people and not allow them to be discouraged”.
On his part, the Caretaker Chairman of Ose Local Government, Mr. Agboola Ajike enjoined them to make good laws that will promote Ondo state.
