Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has encouraged talented actors and actresses in the state not to confine their skills locally but to aim for a global audience. He made this call during a visit from Sunshine movie producers at his office in Alagbaka, Akure.
While addressing the delegation, Aiyedatiwa expressed appreciation for the dedication and hard work demonstrated by the movie producers. He challenged them to leverage their craft to promote positive societal norms and values, both within the state and on a global scale.

The governor said “I urge our talented actors and actresses not to limit their creativity to our state alone but to aspire to reach international audiences with their messages.”
Earlier in her address, Princess Dupe Adetuwo, the convener and leader of the delegation, conveyed gratitude to the governor for acknowledging their contribution to the state’s cultural landscape.




She emphasized the commitment of Nollywood members to the governor’s administration and pledged to produce a movie highlighting the governor’s achievements and impact.
The event was attended by dignitaries including the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mr. Rasheed Badmus, and the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Wale Akinlosotu, among others.
