Don’t sell adulterated fuel, Osun NSCDC warns NUPENG

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State has warned against selling of adulterated fuel in the state.

NSCDC gave the warning during a courtesy visit by executives of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas, NUPENG, to the State command.

The Commandant of the Agency, Agboola Sunday while welcoming executives maintained that the meeting came at the appropriate time as his administration has zero tolerance for vandalism and illegal dealings of fuel.

According to him, proactive intelligence is needed for effective service delivery.

Agboola promised unhindered support for NUPENG in its fight against distribution of adulterated fuel.

Responding,  Acting Chairman of NUPENG, Osun State Chapter, Festus Ishola, commended the gallantry of the Corps in the fight against vandalism.

He lauded the Corps’ effort and strong relationship with the association.

He reiterated that NUPENG will continue working with the NSCDC in the fight against economic sabotage.
