The National Convener of Social Rehabilitation Gruppe (SRG), Dr. Marindoti Oludare, has felicitated with Christians, particularly in Ondo State, as they commence the 40-day Lenten season, marking the journey towards the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In a statement issued by the Southwest Coordinator of SRG, Obadofin Ademola, on Wednesday, the US-based medical doctor and politician urged Christians to utilise the period for deep reflection, fervent prayers, and supplication for Nigeria’s progress, the nation’s leaders, and peace across the country.

Dr. Oludare further enjoined Christians to embrace peaceful co-existence, sanctification of souls, and acts of love during the solemn period.

While wishing believers a spiritually fulfilling Lent, he prayed that the season would bring renewed joy and divine blessings in Christ Jesus.
