The beneficiaries hailed the gesture, showering encomiums on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Oyetola for the initiative aimed at supporting farmers in the state as the dry season approaches.

“We are here to support our people who are farmers with a trailer load of fertilizer across the state. As you can see, we are using this structure to help farmers in this dry season farming.
“We are ready to do more to support our people as we believe strongly that this small gesture will have a multiplier effect on the beneficiaries,” he said.
Earlier, the former Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives, and Empowerment, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun, praised the Minister for his kind gesture.
“When you have a leader that is responsible and responsive, he will always think about the welfare of his followers. That is Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola for you. It is on record that our leader, Adegboyega Oyetola, has made the welfare and general well-being of our people a priority.
“Today, there is nothing those in the state government enjoy that our people are not enjoying far better, and these are made possible by the unwavering commitment and support of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy,” he added.
In his brief remarks, the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal, extolled the Marine Minister for his ongoing support for the party and the progressive family.
Lawal, who was represented by the APC State Treasurer, Femi Kujembola, assured that the farm input would reach the grassroots as intended.
According to him, the distribution would be carried out in line with the party’s structure, from the Unit level upwards, ensuring that every member of the party at various levels would benefit from the initiative.
“As you can see, we have mapped out the distribution order to ensure smooth and seamless distribution of the bags of fertilizer to our people, and I can assure you that it will proceed as designed,” he said.
