The Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun Corps, has extended warm Easter greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Christian faithful across the state.
The message was conveyed by the Corps Commander, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, who described Easter as a significant period in the Christian calendar, a season that embodies the spirit of sacrifice, redemption, and hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He noted that the season was also a time for reflection on the eternal values of love, peace, tolerance, and resilience, virtues he described as essential for the growth and harmony of any society.
“The lessons of Easter, endurance in trials, victory over adversity and the triumph of light over darkness—resonate deeply with our collective desire for a more secure and prosperous society.
“Security is a shared responsibility, and we must all remain vigilant and conscious of our environment.
“We encourage the good people of Ondo State to report any suspicious activities or movements in their neighbourhoods to security agencies promptly.
“Our commitment remains unwavering: to protect lives and property, and to maintain peace and order across the state.
“Once again, we wish all Christians a joyful, peaceful, and spiritually fulfilling Easter celebration.”
