As Christians across the world celebrate Easter today, the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji, has called on them to reflect on the resurrection of Jesus Christ by showing love to one another.

In a goodwill message personally signed by the Speaker in Akure , he urged Christians to imbibe the spirit of humility and holiness as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

While encouraging them to emulate Christ’s doctrine of faith and hope, Oladiji also admonished Christian faithful in Ondo State to continue working for the overall interest of the state by promoting perseverance, peace, and unity.

The Speaker, who used the opportunity to express profound appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for the various landmark achievements recorded by his administration since assuming office, prayed that the resurrection of Jesus Christ brings happiness to all.

Oladiji concluded by wishing all Christian faithful in the state a joyous Easter celebration.
