Education crucial to Osun- SUBEB

Osun State government has reiterated its commitment to provide quality education for students in the state.
The new Executive Chairman, Osun State Universal Basic Education Board, Ajibola Famurewa stated this in Osogbo during his maiden meeting with the staff of the Agency.
Famurewa stated that education is one of the cardinal programmes of the present administration in Osun which must be pursued to the letter.
He appreciated Governor Gboyega Oyetola for giving him and his board members the opportunity to serve the state to enhance Educational development.
Famurewa promised that the board shall work vigorously towards the provision of solid and sound education for Osun school children.
He added that he is on ground to reshape and consolidate on the new Education policy of the present administration and to go deep down the root in building a solid educational foundation in order to secure brighter future generations.
The SUBEB boss, however, solicited for the support and full cooperation of the staff of the agency, imploring everyone to join hands together to move the state educational system to a greater height.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Executive Secretary of the Agency, Adeoye Bakare, eulogized and appreciated the staff of the agency on the warm reception given to the Executive Chairman as well as the new board members, promising that they are all ready to work with them under conducive atmosphere.
