Governor Adeleke, who was accompanied by the State Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi, Speaker, Osun House of Assembly,  Adewale Egbedun, Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye and other political bigwigs enjoined the graduands not to undermine the education and skills learnt in the School for the betterment of their future and nation at large.

He declared that the day marks a landmark in the history of the citadel of learning, advancing that it has contributed to the growth of education in Nigeria.

Governor Adeleke however congratulated the staff, management and the Pro-Chancellor of the University for their steadfastness in the the affairs of running the Institution.

Also speaking, the Pro- Chancellor of the University, who doubles as the Council Chairman, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke urged the graduands to always have the slogan ” change begins with me” at the back of their minds, urging them to build a first class Country, emphasising that they can still change the narratives of Nigeria.

He asserted that citizenship rests on responsibility, noting that the progress of the Country does not rest on the leaders alone, but a collective responsibility.

A total number of 537 graduated with first degree, while 75 graduated as post-graduates across the Faculties of the University.

In his address, the National Secretary, National University Commission, Professor Abukakar Rasheed, who was represented by Prof. Yaya thanked all the participants at the occasion, while appreciating the founder of the institution.
