Eid-el-Fitr: Ondo Speaker preaches peace, forgiveness

As Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji, has called on the fathful to rededicate themselves to the service of Allah and humanity, which is the essence of their existence.

In a congratulatory message personally signed and made available to journalists, Oladiji urged Muslim faithful to reflect on the lessons of Ramadan and embrace one another with forgiveness and love.

The Speaker, who rejoiced with all Muslim brothers and sisters across the state, admonished them to always adhere strictly to the teachings and lessons of Islam.

Stressing the need for peaceful coexistence and the promotion of unity during and after the festival, the Speaker lauded the Governor of the state, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his exemplary love for the people of the state and the various landmark achievements recorded by his administration.

Oladiji wished Muslim faithful a joyous celebration and prayed for continued progress and peace in Nigeria.
