Eid-el-Maulud: Ondo Speaker urges Muslims to embrace peace, love
As Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid-el-Maulud, a call has gone out to them to re-dedicate themselves to the service of Allah and humanity, which is the reason for their existence.
In a congratulatory message personally signed on behalf of other lawmakers, the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji, rejoices with all Muslim brothers and sisters across the state on the occasion and enjoins them to show love to one another at all times.
While admonishing them to always adhere strictly to the teachings and lessons of Islam, he congratulates them on the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Stressing the need for peaceful coexistence and the promotion of unity during and after the festival, the Speaker appreciated the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his love for the people of the state and the various landmark achievements recorded by his administration since assuming office.
