EIMC 16 begins one-week study tour in Ondo

No fewer than 27 participants of the Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC)16 of the National Institute for Security Studies (NIMC), Bwari-Abuja have arrived Ondo State on a study tour.

Receiving the participants to the state, Secretary to the State Government, Princess Catherine Oladunni Odu,
informed them that necessary machinery have been put in place to make their study tour of the State a memorable one.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet and Special Services Department, Pastor Adeyemi Adeyemo, Princess Odu said that the theme of the study tour is anchored on Globalization: Implication for Regional Integration and Sustainable Development in Africa.

She was of the submissions that materials gotten from the tour would go a long way to enhance the participants knowledge about the State and provide adequate details for presentation when they return to the Institute.

Responding, Team Leader representing the Commandant, Barthelomew Omoaka , thanked the State Governor for approving the visit and expressed optimism that the tour would yield transformational change trajectory to sustainable development of the SouthWest region.

The Study tour which is a week long of activities would take the Participants on a courtesy call on the Governor of the State Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON, the Deji of Akure Kingdom and the Chairman Ondo State Council of Obas, Oba Dr. Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi.

The participants will also visit important dignitaries and take a tour of other locations in the State during the course of the visit.
