Ekiti APC candidates canvass vote for Buhari

Candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for the House of Representatives and State House of Assembly in Ekiti state during the next month general elections have  urged the people to vote enmasse for President Muhammadu Buhari and other candidates of the party during the polls.

They made the call yesterday in Eporo Ekiti, Emure Local Government Area  of the state, during their campaign tour to the  community. The candidates urged the people to ensure the completion of the ongoing  projects in the state by voting for Buhari, as well as other canditates of the APC, saying a vote for the party is a vote for progress and prosperity.

Mr Femi Bamisile, while speaking on behalf of other candidates of the APC, warned against politics of bitterness and acrimony.

 He  expressed delight  over the  strong relationship  he has enjoyed with the Emure and Eporo people over the years, saying that such a relationship had ensured victories for him in all the elections he had contested in the past irrespective of political platforms.

Bamisile a former Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, explained that Ekiti people cannot afford to lose out in the service delivery to all Nigerians by APC-led Federal and state governments, saying that the administration of Governor Kayode Fayemi had demonstrated the best service delivery and care for the people.

Describing Buhari and Fayemi as leaders with track records of service, he urged residents to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari and other candidates of the APC during the exercise to enable them benefit from the life-lifting programmes of APC.

He assured  the people that the APC government will continue to implement  programmes that will have direct impacts on their lives and ensure the delivery of dividends of democracy to their doorsteps.

Also speaking, a chieftain of the APC in the state, Mrs Egbeyemi Olagbaju, described one of the House of Assembly candidates, Mrs Olubunmi  Adelugba as a woman of honour and integrity who always champion the cause of the massese, urging  women to come out enmass to vote for one of their own during the conduct of the  election

Olagbaju, urged residents to  assemble at  wards and vote for APC, saying the move would enable them benefit from the various programmes aimed at  making life more meaningful for them.
