The 6th edition of the Ekiti online market Easter trade fair and exhibition 2025 overcame adverse weather conditions to emerge as a remarkable success, reinforcing its status as a premier business event in the region.
Held from March 21 to 30, 2025, at the Fajuyi Pavilion, Ado Ekiti, the fair attracted businesses, entrepreneurs, and consumers from across Nigeria, offering a diverse range of products and services.
Despite heavy rainfall and strong winds, exhibitors reported impressive sales, with some recording transactions worth up to N1.5 million.
A major highlight of this year’s event was its international participation, with four companies from Ghana joining the exhibition— a significant milestone in the fair’s history.
Despite the harsh weather, the event maintained zero casualties due to meticulous planning and strict safety measures implemented by the organizers.
Speaking on the event’s success, Jane Adeyemo, the organiser of the trade fair, expressed excitement over the outcome.
“Despite the challenges posed by the weather, our exhibitors displayed remarkable resilience and adaptability.
We are proud to have provided a platform for businesses to connect with customers and achieve their goals,” she said.
Highlighting the economic potential of Ekiti State and the resilience of its entrepreneurs, Adeyemo said that the organisers were optimistic about building on the success in future editions.
