EKSU convocation: Oyebanji suspends sanitation movement restriction

By Precious Owolabi, Ado-Ekiti

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has ordered the suspension of restrictions on human and vehicular movement for this month’s environmental sanitation exercise scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2025.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Olayinka Oyebode, the Governor said the decision was taken to ensure free movement across the state, particularly in light of the convocation ceremony of Ekiti State University (EKSU), which is slated for the same day.

While lifting the restriction, Oyebanji urged residents to remain committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and secure environment by ensuring proper sanitation in their surroundings.
