The electorate have been charged to work towards having a new Nigeria by participating actively in the next month elections.
Stakeholders, who spoke in separate interviews with The Hope harped on the need for massive participation in the February 25 elections to usher in a new beginning for the country.
According to them, Nigerians must get it right with the choice of leaders to administer the country’s affairs, hence the need for all hands to be on deck to actively participate in the elections.
A political analyst, Dr Biodun Akinyede posited that it is important for voters to get their PVCs as that alone shows their determination for a better Nigeria.
He informed that he was passionate about mobilising the citizens to fulfil their civic duties which starts with getting their voters card.
A clergy, Pastor John Bada urged the electorate to look out for credibility and integrity when casting their votes during the general elections, emphasizing that they should not for any reason sell their votes.
Another cleric, Prophet Mathew Okikijesu ,said leaders at all levels should continuously harp on the need for their followers to collect their PVCs, adding that it is their right to vote in credible leaders.
A legal practitioner, Mrs Catherine Boboye noted that since the Independent National Electoral Commission has extended the date for the collection of PVC, the citizens should take advantage of it.
Others suggested that leaders at all levels should use various media to pass messages that underline the importance of the PVCs collection.
