The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji, has urged the people of the state to prioritise prayers for unity and progress as the new year begins.

He expressed confidence in the continued delivery of democratic dividends under Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s administration.

In a statement personally signed and issued in Akure today, Oladiji congratulated residents for witnessing the start of 2025. He expressed optimism that the year would herald greater achievements and enhanced development across the state.

The Speaker commended the people for their support of the various transformative initiatives introduced over the past year, which have significantly advanced the state’s growth.

Oladiji assured that the House of Assembly remains committed to backing the administration’s programmes and policies, which he described as both innovative and impactful.

He expressed faith that the new year would be marked by productivity and prosperity for Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
