Sunshine Coach ,Kabiru Dogo has commended his players for their efforts to fight back and get a draw at home against Bendel Insurance after an error that gave the visitors the lead in the 63rd minute.
Dogo who stated this in Akure the state capital , though appeared not satisfied with the outcome of the game, rued his side’s luck for not been able to find the back of the net after creating many chances.
According to him ,”the boys played one of their best games today, though we were not just able to get the necessary result. For me the boys have tried and they played to my instructions, we were not lucky today”.
He urged NFF, LMC and NRA to allow the referees to continue with what he called ‘the good job’ in the new season.
“Let the referees continue like this; let them continue the good job. We believe if things continue like this we can pick our results outside too. Congratulations to Insurance!”_ Dogo stated.
