Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday at Revenue House, Akure, organisers highlighted the festival’s significance, with 12 key activities planned.

They include a conference featuring global speakers, networking sessions, and opportunities to connect with innovators and investors.

Summy Smart Francis, the Project Lead and Special Adviser on Entrepreneurship to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, noted that the event marked a milestone as Governor Aiyedatiwa becomes the first Nigerian governor to host the festival.

“This event will generate significant revenue for the State and position it as a hub for entrepreneurship,” Francis said.

Promotions for the event have reached international platforms such as Times Square in New York, alongside prominent displays in Abuja and Lagos.

The festival is expected to attract over 10,000 participants, offering a platform for networking, innovation, and investment opportunities.

Commissioner for Information, Otunba Wale Akinlosotu, described the event as transformative, praising Governor Aiyedatiwa’s dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and youth development.

“This is a proud moment for Ondo State under the exceptional leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa,” Akinlosotu stated.

Other speakers, including the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Lola Fagbemi, and Special Adviser on Gender, Olamide Falana, emphasised the festival’s potential to empower young people and promote gender equality.

Director of Business Development at ONDIPA, Femi Akarakiri, commended the governor for keeping the festival free of political undertones and noted the state’s vast potential in manufacturing and innovation.
