Chelsea suffered a shocking defeat at Stamford Bridge as substitute Rodrigo Muniz scored a dramatic winner deep into six minutes of stoppage time to hand Fulham a historic 2-1 victory.
Meanwhile, Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to seven points with a 3-1 win over Leicester City.
Chelsea seemed on course to maintain pressure on the league leaders, holding a lead secured by Cole Palmer’s smooth 16th-minute strike.
However, Fulham never relented and were rewarded with two late goals, delivering a serious blow to Chelsea’s title aspirations.
Marco Silva’s substitutions proved decisive, as Harry Wilson headed in an equaliser in the 82nd minute, followed by Muniz’s composed low finish past Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
Despite Palmer’s goal – his 26th Premier League strike in a calendar year, breaking Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s Chelsea record set in 2001 – Chelsea struggled throughout.
Fulham’s relentless pursuit of at least a point paid off handsomely, securing their first victory at Stamford Bridge in 45 years.
Liverpool, meanwhile, came from behind after Jordan Ayew’s sixth-minute goal for Leicester, with Cody Gakpo (45+1), Curtis Jones (49), and Mohamed Salah (82) sealing the win.
